Who handles your data
hormonalacnediet.com is run as an independent website and is in charge of the data described on this page. Contact: privacy@hormonalacnediet.com.
The data
- Usage figures: which pages are viewed, where the visit came from, time on page, scroll depth, links and buttons used, and simple device facts such as screen size, language and time zone.
- Swap finder choice: handled inside your browser. The food you picked only travels in the analysis link, and only if you open it.
- Host logs: IP address, browser type and requested page, held for a short period for security and reliability.
How usage figures travel
The page sends usage figures to /api/tap on this same domain, which passes them to an analytics provider (EU) that keeps them on servers in the European Union. The IP address goes along so a rough region can be estimated. A random code in session storage connects the pages of one visit and disappears when you close the tab, so visits are not linked to one another.
When your device runs on a European time zone, a small question appears first and nothing is counted unless you allow it.
The analysis link
Every "Start my analysis" link passes through hormonalacnediet.com/food-check on its way to acne.today, a separate service that charges for its analysis. The link shares which site and which button you used, plus your swap finder pick if you made one. Whatever you give acne.today, such as a photo, answers or payment, is covered by acne.today's own privacy policy.
Lawful basis
- Usage figures from EU visitors: consent, which you can change whenever you like with "Statistics choice" at the bottom of the home page.
- Usage figures from other visitors and host logs: a legitimate interest in a safe, working site.
- Messages you send: required to answer them.

Storage periods
Host logs are removed after 90 days at the latest. Messages are kept while we help you, for no more than two years.
Sharing
Only with the analytics provider and the host, and only what each needs. Data is never sold.
What you can ask
Access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, limits on its use, or an objection. Write to privacy@hormonalacnediet.com and expect a reply within four weeks. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country.
Changes
A new version of this policy carries a new date at the top.
